About Carys
Clinical Excellence Meets Compassionate Care
I am Carys Morgan, a fully qualified Consultant Acupuncturist (Lic Ac MBAcC) specialising in women's health, fertility, and complex life transitions. With over 25 years of experience in the field, I operate exclusively out of established medical chambers, partnering closely with high-end medical consultants and GPs to deliver integrated patient care.
My philosophy is simple: alternative therapy should work in seamless harmony with Western medicine — never against it.
Training & Background
I trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, studying both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture — giving me a uniquely holistic perspective that addresses the mental, emotional, and physical body simultaneously.
I have since undertaken further postgraduate studies in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Fertility & Childbirth, Anxiety & Depressive Disorders, Food Energetics, and Auricular Acupuncture.
London Practice
With over a decade of experience across London medical institutions, including Harley Street Fertility Clinic and Portland Hospital — where I was granted Practising Privileges. I have also worked in the Westminster Women's Clinic and exclusive, appointment-based services at The Connaught Hotel, Mayfair.
I currently consult from Babyinc Private Women's Clinic on Devonshire Place, London — continuing to deliver the same standard of premium, evidence-based care within a prestigious medical setting.
Northern Ireland Practice
My primary clinic is at Lightwork Northern Ireland on High Street in Antrim — a tranquil, warm and confidential environment specifically designed to nurture and support. I also consult from Malone Medical Chambers on the Malone Road, Belfast, one of Northern Ireland's most respected private medical facilities, where I work alongside consultants and GPs, offering the same collaborative, evidence-based approach.
Mentoring & Supervision
As a registered member of the Mentoring and Supervision Network, I provide accredited mentoring and supervision to fellow healthcare practitioners and acupuncturists. I offer a safe, confidential space for deep reflection — focusing on burnout prevention, client boundaries, and the emotional aspects of clinical work.
