This site is run by Carys Morgan Acupuncture. It collects as little as possible, and nothing at all unless you choose to give it.

The enquiry form

If you send an enquiry, the form passes your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your preferred clinic and your message to Carys by email. It is handled by Netlify, who host this website.

Those details are used to reply to you and to arrange treatment. They are not sold, shared or added to a mailing list. If you would like your enquiry deleted, email info@carysmorgan.co.uk and it will be.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful — how many read a particular article, for instance. It does not tell Carys who you are, and nothing from this site is sold, or used to advertise to you.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser when you arrive. They record things like whether you have been here before and which pages you looked at.

Turning it off

If you would rather not be counted, either of these works:

• Google's opt-out browser add-on, which switches Google Analytics off on every site you visit, not just this one.
• Your browser's own settings, which can block or clear cookies for a single site. A private or incognito window also discards them when you close it.

Nothing on this site stops working if you do either, and Carys is never told.

Your rights

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@carysmorgan.co.uk.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Medical records

Clinical notes taken during treatment are separate from this website. They are kept confidentially by Carys under the standards of the British Acupuncture Council, and are never held on or accessible through this site.
